1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site that operates independently from every government office. It does not hold official criminal records, retrieve records on a visitor's behalf, perform an official background check, or file papers for anyone.

The material directs visitors to Goliad County custodians and official state sources, including the Sheriff/Jail, criminal courts, Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Agency records may be governed by the Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, or by separate judicial-record rules. Outside search tools may also be linked as research options.

2. Rules for Using This Site

As a condition of use, you must not:

• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means against the pages
• Violate a local, Texas, or federal law through the site
• Interfere with site operation or another visitor's access
• Use information to stalk, threaten, or harass a person
• Attempt unauthorized access to any system or data
• Rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use information found here or through a linked tool to intimidate, stalk, threaten, harass, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct may also be criminal. The restriction is especially important for the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry, which publishes data for public-safety awareness under Texas law. Registry information does not authorize vigilantism, unlawful discrimination, confrontation, or retaliation against a listed person.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Goliad County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. Neither the site nor its advertising partners prepares consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks for regulated decisions. You agree that information from these pages or a linked tool will not be used to:

• Set insurance premiums or assess creditworthiness
• Choose whether to hire or terminate a person
• Evaluate a rental or housing application
• Decide eligibility for a government program, permit, or license
• Make any other decision regulated by the FCRA

A regulated background check must come from an appropriate FCRA-compliant provider or the official channel required for that purpose. The Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division can explain its authorized criminal-history products, but this site cannot determine which product a user needs.

5. No Legal Advice

The site does not provide legal advice. Its general descriptions of Goliad County records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, nondisclosure order, or expunction rule applies to a specific person. Government Code Chapter 411 addresses criminal-history dissemination and nondisclosure, while Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 55A addresses expunction. Consult a licensed Texas attorney for advice.

6. No Warranties

All site content is supplied "as is." We make no warranty that:

• A partner's search results will be complete or correct
• Information will always be current, accurate, or complete
• The service will operate without interruption
• The pages will contain no bugs, errors, or security weaknesses

Criminal records change when charges are filed, resolved, restricted by nondisclosure, or removed through a qualifying expunction. Updates can produce omissions or stale details. Treat no statement here as an official representation from the Goliad County Clerk, Sheriff, Texas DPS, or another government body.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links can lead to the Goliad County Sheriff, court systems, Texas agencies, legal-aid organizations, and outside search providers. A linked service is not under our control. We accept no responsibility for its material, prices, privacy practices, or availability. Read the destination's terms before using it.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, code, graphics, and logos on this site belong to Goliad County Criminal History or its content partners. Written permission is required before copying, adapting, distributing, or creating derivative work from that material.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from site use, including reliance on content obtained here or from a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from a demand, claim, or legal action caused by your site use or violation of these terms, including related costs and legal fees.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute arising from use of the site must be brought in a court located in Texas. References to the Texas Public Information Act and Government Code Chapter 411 describe the state's record framework and do not make this private site a governmental body.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these conditions at any time. A revision becomes effective when the updated terms are posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or ended at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, every other provision remains effective. The affected language will be modified only to the extent needed for enforcement.
